If this evolution had been in your wish list, you’ve arrived at the right place! We present to you our complete guide to obtaining the Shadow Evolution in Maneater. We hope you are one of those players of Maneater who was searching for this guide, and that made you land here. Nevertheless, you are in the right place. So let’s get started.
How to Get Shadow Evolution in Maneater?
In order to complete the Shadow Evolution in Maneater, you will first have to get your fins on every part of the Shadow Set. These parts are scattered across a number of landmarks in certain sectors of the Maneater map. Landmarks are basically the signposts you must have noticed in a lot of places. When you bite or tail-whip then and destroy them, they get added to your discovered list. In order to obtain each of the evolutions in the Shadow Evolution set, you need to locate all the landmarks in the places listed below:
Shadow Teeth – Located at the Dead Horse Lake. This will drain the blood of prey you bite and will heal you as well. To use this, your shark needs to be at the age of “Teen.” It has a 30% effect of Passive Bite Damage and an On Bite effect resulting in a loss of 50 health.
Shadow Head – Located at the Caviar Key. This will toughen up your shark’s neck muscles, enabling you to thrash your prey around like rag dolls. You will also be able to lunge at your targets ferociously. To use this, your shark needs to be at the age of “Elder.” There is a 10% Passive effect for Lunge Speed and a 25% for Thrash Damage.
Shadow Fins – Located at the Golden Shores. This will produce a lethal toxic cloud around you when you evade your enemies. It will put five poison counters on all creatures within a radius of 5m. This will reduce their speed, damage resistance, and damage output. To use this, your shark needs to be at the age of “Adult.”
Shadow Body – Located at the Sapphire Bay. This will bestow upon you the Shadow Formability, which can slow down the activity in your surroundings by half. It also releases a large cloud of poison every time you lunge at your targets. There is a boost of 20% acceleration, 20% max speed, 20% lunge speed, and 20% swim speed. Shadow Fins feature the very same poison cloud, but it requires the age of “Adult.”
Shadow Tail – Located at the Prosperity Sands. This will enable you to launch a ball of poison from your tail when you perform the tail whip move. This ball produces damage of 50 units on striking targets within a range of 30 meters. It gives a +20% max speed and a +20% swim speed effect. To use this, your shark needs to be at the age of “Adult.”
If you successfully manage to equip the entire shadow set, you will receive a +10% maximum speed. You will obtain each part as you complete the landmark sets in each area. After that, you can equip them at your convenience. Keep in mind, though, that you will get a larger bonus when you equip more of the set. When you have fully loaded all of your resources, and you have successfully equipped all the parts of the Shadow Evolution, your shark will be, quite literally, unstoppable.
If you are having trouble finding all of the landmarks, you should consider upgrading and equipping the sonar system. As a result of this, landmarks will become highlighted even when you are not close to them, and you will be able to find them easily.
