Ash in Warframe gives you strength as well as stealth. It lets you swiftly take care of your enemies and wipe them out while being unnoticed. Now, this invisibleness does not last for too long, but for what its worth, it can be used to get out of any tricky position if the situation calls for it. You can reposition yourself efficiently when you are stuck in a tight spot. But how exactly do you get Ash in Warframe? Well, the answer to that is a bit long.
Just like any other wireframes, Ash is also built using blueprints in the Foundry. And you can get these blueprints from the game itself. However, it can be challenging to look for a particular blueprint in the game if you don’t know where you should look. So in this article, we will try to simplify things for you so that you can ash as soon as possible.

How to get Ash in Warframe?
The primary Blueprint for Ash is available in the market in exchange for credits. But what is challenging to find are the Blueprints of the Neuroptics, Chassis, and Systems needed for this particular warframe. You can find the blueprint for these only by killing some Grineer Maniacs. They look as creepy as their name and are rare species of survivors who live on like savages. But you need to find as many Grineer Maniacs as possible as they are the only enemies in the game that drop the blueprints for Ash. As mentioned above, these are some rare creatures and if you don’t know where to look for them then getting those Ash blueprints will get tricky.
How to find Grineer Maniacs?
The best way to find these creatures is to play defection missions. These creatures do spawn randomly, but there are some defection missions where these creatures surely show up if you wait long enough.
- Memphis on Phobos: 10 to 12 minutes
- Caracol on Saturn: 6 to 8 minutes
- Yursa on Neptune: 5 to 6 minutes
Now as you can see from the list, the quickest way to encounter some grineer maniacs and then collect their drops for ash blueprint is the defections missions for Yursa on Neptune. In this mission, after you save the first group of survivors make them sit in the life support and don’t do anything further. Wait for a while, and you will hear the laugh from the maniac. Now kill that maniac and collect the drop from it. Then extract that squad, followed by a second squad. Repeat this mission again and again until you get all the blueprints for Ash from the maniacs.
Now, you should know that the Drekar Maniacs that spawn during the Tyl Regor boss fight do not drop any ash blueprints. So do not waste your time there. Now if you are lucky, you might see some maniacs spawning in any Grineer Survival mission, or after five Excavators in any Grineer Excavation mission. But the chances of this happening are meagre.
Maniacs will try killing the survivors, and they may even spawn in a group. So if you have squad then ask for their help. In that way, your team can continue taking care of the maniacs, and every time a maniac drops a blueprint for Ash, any player that needs it can collect it.
Be sure to collect all the blueprints that are needed to build the Ash and then get the primary blueprint from the market and start the work in the Foundry.
