Harvesting regular black stone does not require any sophisticated equipment such as a diamond pickaxe or a netherite pickaxe. You may also search for regular Blackstone blocks inside of the bastion remnant structures.
Regular Blackstone blocks can be used for crafting a lot of items. You can craft a black stone slab using three regular black stone blocks, black stone stairs, or black stone walls using six regular black stone blocks, polished black stone using for regular black stone blocks, or a furnace using eight regular black stone blocks. Many other items such as the stone axe, stone hoe, stone pickaxe, stone shover, or a stone sword can also be crafted using these regular black stone blocks with the combination of sticks.
Polished Blackstone
When talking about polished Blackstone blocks, they are a little challenging to find as compared to the regular Black stone blocks. When you craft the polished black stone blocks, they look very smooth and flawless.
As discussed in the previous paragraph, you will need regular black stone blocks for creating one polished Black stone block. Using two black stone slabs, you can create a polished black stone block. However, this will have lines in it.
Polished Blackstone blocks can be used for crafting a lot of items. You can create a polished Black stone button using one polished black stone block, a polished black stone pressure plate using two polished black stone blocks, a polished black stone slab using three polished black stone blocks, a polished black stone brick using four polished black stone blocks, or polished black stone stairs and polished black stone walls using six polished black stone blocks.
Gilded Blackstone
The gilded Black stone blocks are the rarest of the three varieties of black stone blocks. You cannot render gilded black stone from crafting or smelting. They can only be mined from the bastion remnant structures.
When you extract the gilded Black stones from the bastion remnant structures with a pickaxe, it will drop gold nuggets. It is recommended that you keep a guard while you are mining these gilded black stones.
